Congratulations! 

Now you have learned about the important role you have in food safety. 

  • You know now how you can protect others from illnesses by following good personal hygiene standards.
  • You have learned what is needed in commercials kitchens of hygiene routines and manners. 
  • You have learned how important frequent handwashing is and why, how, when, and where to wash your hands. 
  • You have also learned what to wear in the kitchen and what not to wear or use. Gloves get dirty as quickly as your hands but can protect food when you have wounds or in other tasks gloves are needed. 
  • You know now that you must not work in the kitchen when sick.
  • You learned about how to care of your hands, wounds and hygiene,
  • You learned that mobile phones and money are covered with thousands of pathogens – don´t touch them when handling food.
